Digital Cultural Heritage Asia started in 2022 with the creation of a first digital copy of the Muslim cemetery Kubor Kassim in Singapore, thanks to the support of Singapore Management University and a Singapore Ministry of Education Academic Research Fund (AcRF) Tier 1 grant.

Dr David Ocón, an Assistant Professor (Practice) at Singapore Management University's School of Social Sciences, spearheads the project with the support of several instrumental individuals: Nurul Izzati binte Ibrahim O Mahat (research assistant), Cai Yinzhou (research adviser), Wan Zhong Hao (technology adviser), Bridget Lee Xin Yu (interactive map designer), and Aliyah Jamil (website development).

Special thanks to Izzati and Zhong Hao for the photography and videography produced for this project.
